Why don't women use male escorts?

This question came up on another forum, so thought I'd post it here.

Why don't women use male escorts in the numbers that men do?

What sort of women do use male escorts?

My guess re the reasons women don't use male escorts is lack of need. It's easier for a woman to have a request for sex accepted than it is for a man who might just get a slap.

'Friends with benefits' (sex) is also becoming increasingly common.

Also male escorts charge a lot compared to the average female escort. Often £100+ for an hour or so.

That's 3 pairs of shoes! No wonder we don't hire 'em
